Marktec
Engineered Marking and Labeling Solutions
Marktec Products, Inc. is a New York State chapter “C” corporation
founded in 1982 and incorporated in 1985. Since the beginning, we have
focused on providing solutions for marking, labeling, code dating, and
bar code printing applications. We concentrate on bringing and
supporting leading edge marking, labeling, and bar code scanning
technologies to our customers.
We are the oldest independently owned industrial
distributor in New York State specializing in providing in-line
production line equipment and off-line work station equipment for
marking, labeling, and bar coding applications.
Because we have a comprehensive line of marking and
scanning systems, we focus on customer application requirements, not on
one particular marking system. Our primary concern is what’s right for
your specific need.
Marktec has a large industrial base of marking
systems installed at customer sites. We have developed the knowledge,
technical expertise, and the ability to allow us to recommend with
confidence, the right printing or scanning system to install for an
application. We then provide you with comprehensive field service
support and depot repair service on a timely basis, as well as
providing parts, equipment operating supplies, and answering inquiries
and questions concerning them.
We provide technical sales and service visits to
your plant site, to enable us to better understand your applications
and listen to your specific requirements. This enables us to make the
right recommendations and select the best marking or scanning
technologies and methods for your specific application.
Marktec also provides software and hardware
solutions for database management of print and bar code messages
including message creation, storage and retrieval; line operator
downloading of messages to a specific printer; inserting variable
information such as batch, lot, and line numbers and logos; linking
multiple printing systems together; production report generation by
printer activity; and interfacing databases to mainframe inventory and
accounting systems.
